Qualifications

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor – Associate and I work full time as a Professional School Counselor at a local school. I graduated with a master’s degree in Counseling and Development from Lamar University and before that with a bachelor’s degree in Sociology from the University of California at Santa Barbara. I am supervised by Denise Smith, LPC-S.

Scope of Practice

My life is anchored in Jesus Christ which guides all things including my approach to counseling. I am passionate about helping people of all ages, especially children, adolescents and families. I have worked with a variety of issues: ADHD, anxiety, anger management, depression, divorce, and grief. I use various therapeutic approaches based on individual needs.
