LCDC, LPC Student Intern
Life Verse: Ephesians 6:13
“Therefore, take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, having done all, to stand.”
My name is Michael McFetridge. I am currently a Clinical Mental Health Counseling student at LeTourneau University. My expected graduation date is August 2023. I received a Bachelor of Science in Psychology, Addiction, and Recovery from Liberty University in 2013. I have held a license as a Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor (LCDC) in good standing since 2014. I have worked with substance abuse treatment programs in private treatment and treatment programs for individuals who were incarcerated.
Life is a battlefield. I believe that we were all created by God to be warriors. Most warriors carry wounds from past battles and those wounds leave a sense of hopelessness. I believe in the power of hope that is found in the grace of God through Jesus. My hope is to help empower people to rediscover, through their relationship with Christ, the warrior within.
