I am currently a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist Associate under the supervision of Kristin Henshaw M.S., LMFT-S. I received my Masters of Science in Marriage and Family Therapy from Fuller Theological Seminary, Arizona, in 2016. I also received my Graduate Diploma of Christian Counseling from Phoenix Seminary in 2013. I work with adult individuals, couples, families, and adolescent groups. Based on a family’s willingness to engage in therapy, I assist parents in understanding healthy communication patterns, easing transitions for their children, and decreasing the potential for parental alienation. I also have experience working with adolescents with anxiety and obsessive-compulsive disorders, as well as their families.
Life Verse: Jeremiah 29:11
“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” NIV
Scope of Practice
As a marriage and family therapist, I believe struggles are part of a larger system. Relationships in the past and present affect how we see ourselves and the world around us, both positively and negatively. My approach to therapy is to join you in your journey to “connect the dots” of your life experiences in order to understand the present. I believe you are the expert of your life story and have the ability to effect change. My hope is to create a space where you feel free to be open and comfortable to work toward your goals. I look forward to meeting you! firstname.lastname@example.org.
